    Dr. Elie van Rijckevorsel Society

    Companies can take part in Wereldmuseum as Golden Members of the Dr. Elie van Rijckevorsel Society. Especially for them, the museum organizes get-togethers for the purpose of business-to-business networking. The museum also consults society members regarding entrepreneurial matters since cultural enterprise is high on its list of priorities and the museum much prefers to draw knowledge and expertise from its own network. Privileges accorded to members of the society make them a special part of the museum community.

     

    Membership

    Membership costs € 5000 a year on the basis of a four-year contract.  The privileges of Golden Members are as follows:

    • The director of Wereldmuseum will receive a society member and his or her guests and/or give them a guided tour.
    • The director of Wereldmuseum will receive a society member and his or her guests for a preview of a special exhibition.
    • Society members and their guests have free admission to the special exhibitions.
    • Invitations to the openings of special exhibitions.
    • Two free catalogues for each special exhibition.
    • The name of the company is included on or in:
      - the list of sponsors posted at the entrance;
      - the sponsor page of www.wereldmuseum.nl, which includes a link to the sponsor's own corporate website;
      - the digital signposting in the museum;
      - the Wereldmuseum's own catalogues;
      - the museum brochure.
    • Once a year, each of the following halls may be used rent-free, either separately or at the same time: the Ballroom, the Dr. Elie van Rijckevorsel Hall, and the Theater. (The Theater is available only during the day. The Ballroom is not available on Thursdays or Saturdays.) The halls must be reserved at least two months in advance.
    • Members receive a 15% discount on all subsequent hall rentals.
    • Members receive a 20% discount on all theater tickets.
    • Members receive a 20% discount on the Wereldmuseum's own catalogues.
    • Four times a year, members are invited to a seasonal get-together.
