The Café-Winebar is located on the ground floor of Wereldmuseum, at the curve of Willemskade. The interior has an atmosphere that recalls the historic yacht club of Prince Hendrik 'the Navigator'. Herringbone parquet, artichoke lamps by Louis Poulson, cocktail tables and comfortable Chesterfield couches give the bar its style. In the summer, tables are put outside to create a sidewalk cafe with stunning views over the Maas River and the Veerhaven (ferry harbour).
The many wines from far-away places are displayed on shelves behind the large bar. These wines can all be ordered by the glass. Visitors to the Café-Winebar can also enjoy outstanding pastry, coffee and tea from De Eenhoorn, a wide selection of 'finger food', and a special menu in the theme of the temporary exhibit.
Tuesday through Sunday, 10.00 - 24.00. Friday and Saturday until 01.00. Closed on Mondays. Tables cannot be reserved in the Café-Winebar.
