Café-Winebar and Restaurant


Try the spices, smell the aromas, sample the tastes of far and near. On the ground floor of the museum, with stunning views of the Maas River, you will find the Wereldmuseum's new Café-Winebar and Restaurant, where the chef prepares honest dishes using mainly organically grown local products. Inspired by the theme of each temporary exhibit, the chef devises changing menus that will surprise you. The Café-Winebar is the place to enjoy a cup of coffee or to relax over a drink or two. The renowned chef Cees Helder acts as culinary coach, closely supervising the choice of ingredients and the design of the menus. This relationship with Cees Helder reflects the excellence to which Wereldmuseum aspires.

 

The Café-Winebar and the Restaurant adhere to Dutch regulations for the food industry (Uniforme Voorwaarden Horeca).

 

The Café-Winebar and the Restaurant were made possible with the help of grants from the BankGiro lottery and from the foundation known as Stichting Doen.
