The Collection, the permanent exhibition, is made up of artifacts from all over the world. More than 2000 objects are on display. The spiritual story behind the objects is also told. The exhibition is free of admission and open until 20.00.
Wereldmuseum offers, by its outstanding ethnographic collection, a unique place to absorb and experience a variety of cultures. Every year the museum presents two high quality theme exhibitions. These theme exhibitions, comprising masterpieces from museums and private collectors from all over the world, are displayed over a two-storey high exhibition area. The exhibition theme will be carried through the entire museum. Besides these temporary exhibitions, the museum also features a permanent exhibition, 'the Collection', which consists of over 2.000 art pieces of the highest quality, from Asia and Oceania.
